TRO-VENSITE safety B protect

TRO-VENSITE safety B protect is sterile, non-pyrogenic, a-toxic and shows the following characteristics:

With silicone septum to prevent blood spillage
Special 3 facet back point bevel of the needle for easy and atraumatic insertion
Two movable wings for safe fixation to the skin
PUR catheter with completely embedded radiopaque stripes
Colour coded wings and hub
With hydrophobic membrane, for preventing blood spillage from the catheter
Special self-activating safety clip which covers the needle tip immediately after the needle has been removed from the catheter
The safety mechanism cannot be bypassed but requires no change in application technique
User protection from needle-stick injuries and inadvertent infection
Safety clip prevents needle from being reused
